The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo Esq., on Wednesday paid a courtesy call to former President John Agyekum Kufuor at his Peduase residence.
He formally informed the former President about the planned NPA @20 celebrations.
Mr. Tameklo commended former President Kufuor for conceiving the idea of establishing NPA, and extended an invitation to him to participate in the anniversary celebrations.
Former President Kufuor thanked Mr. Tameklo for the recognition and accepted the invitation to participate in the celebrations.
He urged Mr. Tameklo to run the Authority with integrity and professionalism for the good of the downstream petroleum industry.
The NPA team included Mr. Joseph Awan – Director, Risk and Chairman of the 20th Anniversary Planning Committee; Mrs. Maria Oquaye – Director, Corporate Affairs and Co-Chair of the 20th Anniversary Planning Committee; Head of Communications, Mrs. Racheal Naa Atswei Nee-Okpey; Mrs. Genevieve Bissue, Head, Protocol and Logistics; Mr. Emmanuel Mensah Hanson, Executive Assistant to the CE, and Mr. Maxwell Boakye, Special Aide to the CE.
