The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Kudzo Tameklo Esq., on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, joined Muslim staff of the Authority to observe the maiden edition of their Grand Iftar.
He was accompanied by his deputies, Dr. Sheila Addo and Dr. Dramani Bukari, together with directors and other senior officials. The event also saw strong participation from members of the Christian community within the Authority, reflecting a spirit of inclusiveness and mutual respect.
In his remarks, the Chief Executive reaffirmed Management’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment that supports staff in the practice of their respective faiths. He underscored the importance of religious tolerance, unity, and peaceful coexistence as essential pillars for maintaining harmony and productivity within the workplace.
He further encouraged the Muslim community to continue to offer prayers for the Authority and the nation, particularly in support of the NPA’s mandate to effectively regulate Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector.
Lawyer Tameklo also called for special prayers for global peace and stability, especially in light of ongoing geopolitical tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, which continue to pose uncertainties for the global oil market.
The Grand Iftar was marked by a warm atmosphere of fellowship, with staff from diverse backgrounds coming together to share a meal, strengthen bonds, and celebrate unity in diversity.
The event highlights the NPA’s commitment to promoting an inclusive organizational culture that values diversity, mutual respect, and collective responsibility.
