The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has held a thanksgiving service at the Seventh-day Adventist Cedar Mountain Chapel in East Legon as part of activities marking its 20th anniversary.
The event, attended by the Authority’s Chief Executive, Mr. Godwin Edudzi Tameklo (Esq), along with directors and staff, formed part of celebrations following the official launch of the anniversary.
The service was aimed at acknowledging what the NPA described as two decades of dedication, resilience and commitment in regulating Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector.
Delivering a sermon, Rev Dr Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God and lead pastor of the Cedar Mountain Chapel, encouraged the Authority to remain steadfast in its work.
He urged staff to uphold professionalism and maintain their service to the nation regardless of political differences, noting that national development depends on unity and collective effort.
Mr Tameklo expressed appreciation to the church for what he described as its warm reception and support during the service.
As part of the ceremony, the church presented a commemorative plaque and an anniversary cake to the NPA in recognition of the milestone.
Below are highlights from the service.
