NPA Supports “More Hope for Disabled Foundation” to Drive Economic Empowerment

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive development through a financial donation to the “More Hope for Disabled Foundation,” aimed at empowering persons with disabilities.

The presentation ceremony was held on Wednesday, 25th March 2026, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Teshie, bringing together members of the Foundation and representatives of the Authority.

Delivering the welcome address, the President of the Foundation, Mr. Joseph Odey Mensah, expressed profound appreciation to the NPA for its continued support. He highlighted the Foundation’s mission of promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance among persons with disabilities.

He noted that a previous donation of GHS 50,000 received on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities had been effectively utilized to equip selected beneficiaries with tools for income-generating activities. These included trading inventory, a printer, electrical equipment, a container store, a polytank, and an industrial sewing machine.

Speaking on behalf of the NPA, Ms. Natasha Boakye, CSR Supervisor at the Corporate Affairs Directorate, commended the resilience and determination of the Foundation and its members. She reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to initiatives that promote inclusion and enhance economic empowerment for vulnerable groups.

The event also featured the presentation of items to beneficiaries, underscoring the tangible impact of the support and the NPA’s dedication to fostering sustainable and community-driven growth.
