The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) on Wednesday, August 28, 2025, partnered with the Buz Stop Boys to undertake a clean-up exercise in Dzorwulu and its environs in Accra.
The initiative formed part of the Authority’s Welfare Week 2025 celebrations, which kicked off on Monday August 25, with a series of activities, including an entrepreneurship fair and other staff-capacity building engagements.
Staff from the NPA Head Office joined the Buz Stop Boys to sweep streets, desilt drains, and collect refuse along the stretch from the Authority’s premises to the Petroleum Commission and surrounding areas.
The NPA team stressed the importance of environmental cleanliness, noting that sanitation plays a crucial role in public health and sustainability.
The Buz Stop Boys, on their part, commended the Authority’s efforts in contributing to a cleaner Ghana and urged more corporate institutions to actively support community clean-up exercises.
The week-long celebrations will climax on Friday with a talk on Corporate Harassment, aimed at encouraging a safe, respectful, and inclusive working environment.
The NPA organizes Welfare Week annually across its regional offices to promote staff bonding, reflection, and social responsibility.
